There are a number of beauty gadgets I find myself reaching for on a daily basis. They are the gadgets that make beautifying yourself just a little bit easier.
With a million different promises from a million different gadgets and brands, it can be hard to trust what some gadgets ‘guarantee’ they’ll do. You know you’ve found a winner when they make their way out of the bathroom drawer and on top of the vanity.
Here are some tried and true favourite beauty tools that do their job and are also affordable.
What’s nice about this beauty tool is that it’s great for dry brushing as well as massaging your skin. It has little round nodules that massage your skin whilst you brush. Dry brushing is great for deep exfoliation which can help with cellulite and stretch marks.
You can purchase 100 for around $5 off of eBay. Spoolies are great for a number of reasons. Brushing through your brows and your lashes, especially if you have eyelash extensions.
Quick tip: If you have dry and flaky lips, apply Vaseline to your lips and brush with a spoolie. It will take off the dead skin cells.
Squeezing and prodding at our skin is definitely not recommended but let’s be honest, it’s so damn satisfying. So if you’re going to do it, do it right. Having the correct tools and making sure they are sterilised is the best way to make extractions.
Make sure you’re being as gentle as possible and using these tools in a sterile environment when safely popping pimples at home (we don’t want any nasty scarring!)
