After a long week, I woke up craving an energising green juice that was going to start my Sunday morning off on the right foot.
There is a green juice I love getting from the shopping centre ‘detox delight’, so I decided to recreate it. It’s quick and easy to make, refreshing not to mention the most delicious green juice I have ever tasted/made.
Quick tip: Keep in mind that just because you’re blending food into a juice, doesn’t mean there are any fewer calories. You wouldn’t eat 5 apples in a day, so don’t blend 5 apples to make a juice.
- 2 Celery Sticks
- 1 Apple
- 1 Squeeze of Lemon
- 1 cup Coconut water
Blend and enjoy!
Ginger is one of my favourite ingredients to put in juices and smoothies. It is stimulating and is great for calming your stomach. Since the other flavours in this juice are mild, it is the perfect ingredient to spice things up.
